Rideshare & Uber Driver Medicals
Rideshare driver medical assessments
Rideshare platforms including Uber, DiDi and Ola require drivers to provide a medical assessment confirming fitness to drive. In Queensland, passenger vehicle drivers also need to meet the Queensland Transport Authority (QTA) medical standards for booked hire services.
Albany Creek Doctors provides rideshare driver medicals for new drivers and for recurring renewals. Appointments are available without lengthy waits.
What's included
Assessments cover the same core areas as commercial driver medicals, scoped to passenger vehicle driving:
- Vision — distance and peripheral vision
- Cardiovascular screening — blood pressure and cardiovascular risk
- Neurological and mental health screening
- Musculoskeletal assessment
- Medication review
- Sleep and fatigue screening
The completed form is signed and ready to upload to the platform or submit to Queensland Transport.

- Photo ID (driver's licence)
- Glasses or contact lenses if you use them
- The platform or QTA medical form — download it before the appointment
- A list of current medications
- Any relevant specialist reports if you have ongoing conditions
